Critically acclaimed and Broadway box office hit Wicked will hit Arizona on 2012 by way of Tempe’s Gammage Auditorium. The musical will run from the 15th of February till the 11th of March.

Wicked, featuring a book written for the stage by Winnie Holzman and music and lyrics from Stephen Schwartz, is the untold story of Elphaba and Galinda, the two future witches of Oz, with Galinda turning out as Glinda the Good Witch of the North while emerald skin Elphaba emerging as the Wicked Witch of the West, the same witch Dorothy fought with in the “Wizard of Oz”.

Wicked was last in Tempe, Arizona playing the ASU Gammage Auditorium on the campus of Arizona State University from July 1 – 26, 2009.
