Wicked comes to Omaha, NE, by way of the Orpheum Theatre, from May 16 to June 3, 2018. The musical tells the story of the Wicked Witch of the West, Elphaba, whose character, wits and appearance – she was born with emerald skin – has made her feel excluded from society. The musical also gives audiences an interesting account of the events that coursed the fated meeting of the Wicked Witch and Dorothy, the lead character from Wizard of Oz. The musical features the compositions of Stephen Schwartz and a story penned by Winnie Holzman.

Wicked was last in Omaha, Nebraska playing the Orpheum Theatre from May 7 to 25, 2014 and May 6 – 31, 2009. The 2009 Omaha cast for Wicked was comprised of Donna Vivino (Elphaba), Chandra Lee Schwartz (Glinda), Randy Danson (Madame Morrible), Richard Kline (The Wizard), Richard H. Blake (Fiyero), Ben Liebert (Boq), Amanda Rose (Nessarose), and Paul Slade Smith (Dr. Dillamond).
