Houston, prepare to be enchanted! Wicked, the box office record-breaking Broadway musical, has a four-week engagement at the Hobby Center’s Sarofim Hall from July 6 to August 14, 2016.
A re-imagination of The Wonderful Wizard of Oz from L. Frank Baum, Wicked tells the untold tale the Oz witches and how the infamous Wicked Witch of the West and the radiant Good Witch of the North came to be. Meet Elphaba, the green-skinned and smart woman, and Galinda, the well-liked and popular girl at Shiz University. Witness how they strike a very unlikely friendship and where their destinies will take them. With powerful story, stunning sets, impressive score, and breathtaking choreography, the New York Times has hailed Wicked as the “biggest blockbuster” in Broadway.
Catch the 7:30 PM performances of Wicked at the Sarofim Hall from Tuesday to Wednesday and at 8 PM every Friday. The weekend show times are at 2 PM and 8 PM every Saturday and at 2 PM and 7:30 PM every Sunday.
